29th March – “In the Fade” (“Niotkuda” in Serbia)

Katja’s life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After a time of mourning and injustice, Katja is seeking revenge.

30th March – “Dugo Putovanje u Rat” (“The Long Road to War”)

The documentary film “The Long Road to War”, directed by Milos Skundric, will be screened at the 65th March Documentary and Short Film Festival. The film covers the period of the First World War, an event that determined the course of the 20th century that has been the controversial subject for historians for over a hundred years. With the help of the world renowned historians, this film tries to answer the questions of how and why did the First World War become the first in the series of world disasters.

31st March – “Mary Magdalene” (“Marija Magdalena” in Serbian)

Mary Magdalene is a 2018 biblical drama film about a Jewish woman who, according to the New Testament, traveled with Jesus as one of his followers. She is said in the Gospels to have witnessed Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. The film is directed by Garth Davis, and stars Rooney Mara as Mary Magdalene, Joaquin Phoenix as Jesus Christ, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Peter and Tahar Rahim as Judas.
