The employees of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in Serbia will remain on paid leave until 27 March, the company has decided to prevent the spread and reduce the risk of contracting the coronavirus, said the factory’s union.
The president of the union, Zoran Markovic, told the Beta news agency that the decision was made in accordance with the decisions of the Serbian government and according to market demands in order to prevent the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

FCA’s workers in Kragujevac were supposed to return to work today, but the company decided yesterday that the plant would remain closed until March 27.
