Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: Stable production in 2017

The Kragujevac factory Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia (FCA) expects a stable situation in 2017 and the same production volume as in 2016.

–  85,000 units were produced in Kragujevac in 2016, and we expect the same level of production in 2017, or possibly several units more – said Fabrizio Renzi, CFO of FCA Serbia, following the traditional holiday season meeting with the media.

This year, 1,800 cars of 500L Standard, Living and Trekking model were produced in Serbia, making up 2% of the total production.

When asked by the press when the production of the redesigned version of 500L was expected to start, Renzi said that there they would talk about it “when the time comes”.

– At this moment, we can’t discuss the new model, but as soon as we get more information from the Turin central, we will notify the local public – Renzi said.

The Fiat factory in Kragujevac employs more than 2,400 workers.

A small favour

Our archive is completely free of charge, available to anyone who wants to get to know the country, to study its specific aspects, or to be constantly updated about it. This project will only be able to continue with the help of readers on whom we are calling to provide a small financial support so that we can continue supplying an increasingly expanding pool of information and original contributions.
