FEST moved to May

The board of directors of FEST, the biggest international film festival in the region, has decided the festival to a new date, from 7 to 16 May 2021, due to the current epidemiological circumstances.

“FEST is being prepared and will be held under the slogan ‘Back to the Future’, as the largest and most famous film event in the country and the region, to contribute to a return of the audience to the cinemas that have been and should remain the main link in the film industry,” the press release says.

This year’s, FEST will have more than 70 premieres of the latest foreign and Serbian production in different programme segments, which the audience will be able to see in movie theatres at Sava Centar, Kombank Dvorana, Dom Omladine and Cineplexx Galerija.

As the festival’s organizer, CEBEF, notes that the programmes will take place in strict compliance with all measures prescribed by the government’s Crisis Unit, and invites the audience of FEST to vaccinate themselves, which is the safest form of protection against the coronavirus.

More information about FEST’s start and ticket sales, as well as the date of the first press conference, will be published later.
