The biggest and most important film festival in Serbia, FEST, will be held next year from 25 February to 6 March, under the slogan “Novi hrabri svet” (The Brave New World), Culture Secretary at the Belgrade government, Ivan Karl, has announced.
The number of screenings at the festival will depend on the ongoing epidemiological situation. Next year, the festival celebrates its 50th anniversary, hence the Festival organizers have prepared a rather special programme. Apart from film screenings, the Festival will launch books dedicated to renowned film workers such as Dino Tucaković, Nebojša Đukelić and Emir Kusturica.
Also, the Serbian Post Office will issue stamps marking the festival’s 50th anniversary.
