FCA Serbia: New model of Fiat 500L to be launched

This year’s production of all versions of the Fiat 500L model has started at the factory of Fiat Chrysler Automobili (FCA) in Serbia.

The production is carried out in two shifts with the daily output of almost 450 finished cars. The management of FCA Serbia says that this year’s production plan is similar to the one from 2016 in terms of the number of produced units. According to the official data, FCA’s factory in Kragujevac manufactured approximately 85,000 cars last year.

This year, the company plans to launch the redesigned 500L model on its European and North American market, while the bigger version of this model should be launched in mid-2017.

Prior to that, the car will have its premiere at one of the renowned international car shows, probably the upcoming Geneva Car Show that will take place in March which is considered the most referential car show in Europe. The Geneva Car Show was the place where the previous version of Fiat 500L had its world premiere in March 2012.
