The 12th Ethnic Food and Drink Fair will take place in Belgrade from 22nd to 25th November, with over 300 exhibitors that will present close to 2,000 different foods and beverages – the Belgrade Fair announces.
The Fair is the most important regional exhibition of producers of traditional, artisan food, prepared from traditional recipes in limited quantities, mostly from organically grown ingredients.
The Belgrade Fair’s press release also say that, apart from the Serbian exhibitors, there will be also food and wine producers from Greece, Montenegro and the Republic of Srpska, to name a few.
A conference on the international cooperation between regional countries will also take place during the fair with the participation from the representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water, FAO, EBRD, cooperative associations from regional countries, and the Italian and Spanish embassies.
Additionally, tourist boards, various business and entrepreneur associations, and agriculture support funds will exhibit at the fair. The Serbian Ministry of Agriculture and the City of Belgrade are the official sponsors of the event.
The Fair’s target group are food and beverage distributors, HoReCa and supermarket suppliers, restaurant owners, chefs, professional food critics, and foreign buyers.
