The Minaqua Company plans to build a water park in Novi Sad which will span nine hectares. The estimated value of the investment is EUR 15 million, and all the money will come from the company’s funds.
“The Minaqua Water Park will be built at the entrance to Novi Sad from the direction of the motorway, near the turning toward Zrenjanin, across from the chocolate factory,” Minaqua says.
The beginning of the construction depends on how fast the next steps that are necessary for the project to be realized are going to be completed. Minaqua hopes that the construction will start early next year.
“We are planning to have various water segments and a park, suitable for children aged 2 to 15, which will be completed during the first phase of the construction,” the company says.
The Minaqua Water Park is designed to be eco-friendly and will be heated by geothermal sources, as well as have a solar-based power supply and 1,000 trees. A parking lot for 1,000 vehicles will also be built.
