A touch of magic, scented with spring, joy and the most beautiful messages of childhood, arrives on the Main Stage of the Madlenianum on Sunday, 19 April – the children’s opera “Easter Story”, a new original work that will take the youngest audience on an unforgettable journey through a world of music, play and warm emotions.
Directed by Branislav Cvijić and performed by the ensemble of the artists’ association Visoko C, this lavish production brings a story of friendship, understanding and the power of forgiveness – values that make Easter the most joyful of holidays.
This one-act opera, featuring six vivid scenes and as many as ten musical numbers, combines singing, acting and movement into a lively stage fairy tale. Through cheerful and memorable melodies, the audience will, together with the characters, discover the meaning of Easter – a holiday that celebrates life, light and love.
