Dragan Milić:”SNS considering calling parliamentary elections for 28 June”

Dr Dragan Milić, president of the Movement for the Decentralisation of Serbia (PODES), stated on the Bez Pardona programme on KTV television that the authorities are planning to call parliamentary elections for 28 June this year.

In those elections, PODES will most likely support the student list. As for the presidential elections, the movement does not yet have concrete plans.

Dr Dragan Milić appeared as a guest on the Bez Pardona programme on KTV television, where he analysed current social and political developments in the country. Milić said that the SNS is seriously considering the idea of calling parliamentary elections for 28 June. If that does not happen, Milić says the plan is to reshuffle the Government in April.

PODES will most likely support the student list in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Milić said. At the same time, he stressed that, regarding the presidential elections, PODES still has no concrete plans and will listen to the mood of the public. He added that if he were to become President of Serbia one day, his mandate would not last five years.

Dr Milić also said that he simply wants Serbia to become a normal and free country as soon as possible, and for him to return to the operating theatre and do the work he does best.
