Director of Customs Administration: No obstacles to exporting to Russia

The Director of the Serbian Customs Administration, Branko Radujko, confirmed that Serbia had not imposed any sanctions on Russia and that there was no ban on exporting to Russia, thus denying the claims made by the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS), which previously claimed that the Ministry of Finance, through the Customs Administration, had started imposing sanctions on Russia.

“There are no sanctions or bans on exports to the Russian Federation. Farmers who export their products to the Russian market have absolutely no reason to worry,” Radujko said and added:”Serbia is a free country that has developed external trade relations with everyone and very efficient and equal and transparent export and import procedures for all”.

POKS claimed that the Ministry of Finance, through the Customs Administration, has started imposing sanctions on Russia, i.e. that from today import and export from Russia is prohibited, which also applies to agricultural products, reports Tanjug.
