In 2021, the demand for office space in Belgrade grew by 70% compared to 2020 and it continues to grow, CBS International says.
The demand for office space at the annual level exceeded 158,000 square metres last year.
In 2021, office space spanning a total of 62,000 square metres was built in the capital, while in 2022 and 2023, once all the planned projects are implemented, the Serbian capital will have a total of 236,000 square metres of office space at disposal.
The new office building in the Airport City Belgrade complex has been completed and it now has space of 15,700 square metres available for rent. The building is the eleventh investment by AFI Europe.
Novi Beograd still remains the most popular neighbourhood in terms of office space, although an increasing number of IT companies that came to Serbia recently prefer the capital’s centre as office location.
