Deadline for submitting VAT returns moved to September 30

Regulation no. 87/2020 on amendments to the Rules of Procedure relating to eligibility for VAT returns states that the submission of VAT return forms has been extended until September 30, 2020, as stated in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

This deadline applies to:

– foreign taxpayers – for VAT refund for goods and services purchased in the Republic of Serbia in 2019;

– humanitarian organisations – for VAT refund for goods purchased in the Republic of Serbia in 2019;

– Traditional churches and religious communities – for VAT refund for goods and services purchased in the Republic of Serbia or import of goods into the Republic of Serbia in the quarter April – June 2020;

– diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations – for VAT refund for goods and services purchased in the Republic of Serbia or import of goods into the Republic of Serbia in the quarter April – June 2020.

All other deadlines for submitting a VAT return remained unchanged.
