Serbian government and Nikola Tesla Airport have again extended the deadline for submission of concession for this airport. The new deadline for submission of binding bids is 23rd November, 2017.
As the press release reads – “the deadline has been extended because the public body – in this case Serbian government and Nikola Tesla Airport – have to submit the final version of the draft Concession Agreement to the bidders which qualified for the Phase 2 of the concession process. This should be done by 23rd October, 2017 the latest”.
The subject of the concession, which was publicly launched on 10th February, 2017, is the airport’s funding, development through construction and reconstruction, maintenance and management of infrastructure, and carrying out operational activities.
Other elements of the public invitation for submission of bids (from 10th February) remain unchanged, the press release reads.
The companies that are bidding for the airport concession are the Swiss-French consortium Zurich Airport, along with the companies Eiffage and Meridian Eastern Europe Investments, the Indian-Greek consortium comprised of GMR Infrastructure Limited and Terna, the French company Vinci Airports, the South Korean-Turkish-Cypriot consortium of companies Incheon Airport Corporation, Yatirimlari ve Islatme and VTB Capital Infrastructure, and the Chinese consortium of companies HNA and China National Aero-Technology.
