Serbian Parliament Speaker Ivica Dačić met yesterday in Belgrade with Italian Ambassador Carlo Lo Cascio to discuss his upcoming visit to Rome, during which he will meet with Chamber of Deputies Speaker Roberto Fico and Senate President Maria Elisabetta Casellati.
Dačić said that these meetings “will give a significant impetus to the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries”. Dačić and Lo Cascio also talked about bilateral cooperation and the possibilities of further improving relations between Italy and Serbia, which, as has been said, are at the highest level.
Dačić also informed his interlocutor about the current activities of the Serbian Parliament in the field of constitutional changes. Ivica Dačić also informed Ambassador Lo Cascio about the inter-party dialogue, the plenary meeting held on 9 and 10 July 2021 with the representatives of the European Parliament, as well as the dialogue with political parties that do not want the participation of foreign officials in the dialogue.
