‘Critical Mass’ cycling event in Belgrade on 29 April

On Saturday, April 29, at 4:30 p.m., amateur cyclists will gather at Belgrade’s Nikola Pašić Square, from where they will start their ride around the Belgrade centre, and then proceed to Kalemegdan.

The mass ride through the Belgrade centre, as part of the regular monthly ‘Critical Mass’ event which is organized for the 138th time, will stop at the archaeological site of the Kalemegdan Water Gate, on the route of the future Line Park.

The participants will cycle down the Vojvoda Bojović Boulevard, which will be closed for 15 minutes to traffic, in protest against the fact that due to the reconstruction works, the cycling path along the Boulevard is impassable for both cyclists and pedestrians for quite some time now, and that archeological location near the Linijski Park, at the foot of Kalemegdan, hasn’t been protected from the construction work.
