Out of 139 countries, in which the cost of living was analyzed, Serbia ranks 94th. Of the other Western Balkan countries, only Montenegro and Croatia have higher living costs.
Croatia was ranked 59th and Montenegro 87th. The lowest cost of living is in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is in 96th place, reports Radio Free Europe.
Below it is Albania in 99th place, North Macedonia in 118th place and Kosovo in 134th place.
Bermuda and Switzerland are the most expensive countries to live in, while Pakistan and Afghanistan are the cheapest. The cost of living index is calculated based on housing prices, food prices, restaurant prices and purchasing power.
