Coronavirus postpones payment of tax

Judging by the draft law on amendments to the Tax Procedure and Tax Administration Law published on the website of the Ministry of Finance, it is possible that due to the pandemic, companies will be able to postpone settlement of their tax debt and payment of overdue taxes.

The document states that “exceptionally, and in order to mitigate the economic consequences caused by the pandemic, force majeure or other extraordinary events that occurred during the calendar year, the deferral of payment of taxes due, i.e. tax liabilities that are past due, is approved in the manner and according to the provisions of the government”.
