The Contemporary Chinese Film Festival will be held at the Yugoslav Film Archive from December 14 to 18, and will premiere eight new feature films in front of the Belgrade audience.
The festival is organized in cooperation with the Chinese National Film Archive from Beijing and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Serbia and will feature films of various genres, as well as one animated and one documentary film. Admission to all screenings is free of charge.
At the opening, on Wednesday at 8 p.m., the musical fantasy “Snake White” (2019), directed by Xien Feng Zhang, inspired by the ancient legend of timeless love, will be screened.
