Consultations on appointment of new Serbian PM start

Outgoing Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) consultations on the new Prime Minister designate started on Monday, Beta news agency reported.

The consultations within the SNS will take two days and will be followed by consultations with other political parties, Brnabic told the media.

Brnabic, who is also an SNS deputy leader, said she expects the name of the new PM-designate to be released in the next seven to eight days.

She also said that Serbia still didn’t have a government the Parliament has just been constituted.

“I would not like to talk about whether I expect the trust or support of President Aleksandar Vučić, because I think it is completely irrelevant for the citizens of Serbia,” said Brnabic.
