A total of 1,377 building permits were issued in Serbia in September, the highest number of building permits since 2007 when the State Statistical Office started tracking this data – the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure said.
The previous record was made in July when 1,301 building permits were issued. Also, the September results show a 30% hike compared to September last year.
In the first nine months of this year, 17% more building permits were issued relative to the same period last year, while the projected value of the construction work (for which the permits were issued) is 6% higher.
Most of the building permits were issued in Belgrade, followed by South Backa County.
