Companies, small business owners and other taxpayers are now able to prepare and submit regular annual financial statements, with the accompanying documentation, by logging into the online information system of the Business Registers Agency (APR).
As reported on the website of the APR (Agencija za privredne registre), the deadline for submitting financial statements for 2019 for legal entities and entrepreneurs who keep company books in the double-entry accounting system ended on March 5, at midnight.
The Agency received a total of 265,802 reports online, almost 95,000 more than last year.

Of all the reports received, 18% of taxpayers submitted reports for statistical purposes independently, 72% of taxpayers used the possibility to submit statistical and regular annual financial reports simultaneously with the required documentation, while 10% of taxpayers submitted declarations of inactivity.
