The mayor of Belgrade, Zoran Radojicic, said that, if necessary and keeping in mind the epidemiological situation, restaurants and shopping centres will be forced to close again.
He explained that the situation is monitored daily and that the parameters on the basis of which measures are prescribed and applied are constantly analyzed. If the epidemiological situation worsens in Belgrade, the next measure would be the closure of restaurants and shopping centres.
“Right now, I think it’s sufficient to wear masks to stop the next wave of the coronavirus contagion and return to a quiet phase. The emphasis is on the citizens of Belgrade respecting the rules,” the mayor told the Prva TV.

He added that he has information that significantly more people have started wearing masks since yesterday.
“However, there are also irresponsible people who need to be reminded of the importance of the measures and made to behave responsibly,” Radojicic said.
