After a three-month break, cinemas in Serbia will open again on July 1 with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Serbian Film Centre (FCS), which have launched the “Povratak u bioskope” (Back to the cinemas) campaign.
From July 1 to 15, cinema-goers will be allowed into cinemas and the price of tickets for all screenings will be reduced to 200 dinars during the entire campaign.
“FCS strongly supports this campaign, especially bearing in mind that, during the state of emergency, we submitted a request for financial assistance to the Government of the Republic of Serbia. We understood that the film distributors and the cinemas were the first to feel disturbed by the situation and that they will be the last to return to normal,” said FCS Director Gordan Matić.

The repertoire, which will be uniformed in all cinemas, will consist of 20 of the most successful titles of this year and the previous year, as well as screenings of the films that were interrupted due to the pandemic.
After the end of the campaign, screenings of new films will resume on July 15.
