The Cinema City Association, which has been organizing the eponymous international film festival in Novi Sad for years, will organize a two-day pop-up festival called “Cinema Now”
The festival will be held in the premises of the Svilara cultural station in Novi Sad and will include music, films and other artistic events.
Visitors will be able to see, among other things, a selection of films made by young filmmakers from Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia including “Soldatii. Poveste din Ferentari”, “Take me somewhere nice” and others.
There will also be a musical programme that will feature the band E-Play from Belgrade, the Hungarian band Fran Palermo, as well as Repetitor from Belgrade.
A special segment of the festival will be dedicated to the promotion of the new Hungarian art scene under the auspices of the K3CI project, which is part of the Hungary-Serbia cross-border cooperation programme Interreg-IPA.
Admission to the events will be free of charge while the seats for film screenings can be booked on Gigstix.com.
Cinema Now is supported by the Novi Sad 2021 European Culture Capital Foundation.
