China’s Xingyu to launch trial production in their Niš factory in late April

In late April, the Chinese company Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems will launch a test production in its Niš factory.

The factory will produce LED lighting for the automotive industry and employ 1,000 workers. The mayor of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, said that after this investment of EUR 60 million, the city can look forward to further developments.

“Niš will become a strategic and development centre for Europe in the production of LED lighting for all brands of the automotive industry of Chinese companies. Xingyu has also initiated talks with the Faculty of Electronics in Niš and representatives of the Science and Technology Park with the view of cooperating with them and providing scholarships for a number of students,” said the director of the Office for Local Economic Development in Niš, Dušan Radivojević.

Xingyu’ is a world leader in LED lighting for cars. The company was founded in 1993.
