Candy Dulfer to close Nisville 2017

Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer will perform at the closing of the 2017 Nisville Jazz, the Festival’s organizers have announced.

They said that “Nisville has proposed to the City Assembly of Nis to award Candy Dulfer the status of honorary citizen of Nis at one of its upcoming sessions because of her contribution to the promotion of Nisville and the City of Nis, in particular in her home country, the Netherlands”.

According to Nisville Director Ivan Blagojevic, in her media appearances Dulfer has promoted the uniqueness of the Nisville Jazz Festival, which the influential British newspaper the Guardian listed among the Top 10 European Jazz Festivals in the world.

Talks about Dulfer bringing a special guest to perform along her are already under way as well, added Blagojevic.
