From 15 September to 15 November, a public call for grants for innovative companies and teams will be open related to the financing programmes of the Innovation Activities Fund.
The funds in the amount of EUR 3.2 million will be provided jointly by Serbia and the European Union through the IPA project ‘Increasing the capacity and technological readiness of small and medium-sized enterprises’.
“In order to facilitate the transformation of innovative ideas into sustainable projects, in its third application cycle, the Fund provides financial incentives through the Development Programme and the Innovation Co-financing Programme. With well-defined criteria, the programmes are intended for the development of new products, services or technologies that have a strong innovation potential for which there is a need in the market’, the press release reads.
In order to obtain the funding, companies are obliged to secure part of the funds from other private sources, while the Fund allocates between EUR 80,000 and EUR 300,000 per innovative idea.
In this way, the Fund, together with companies, participates in the research and development of innovative solutions, which have a positive impact on the national economy. Applications for project funding in all fields of science and technology and all industrial sectors are submitted via the website, while the necessary application documents and detailed information on the call are available on the Fund’s website.
The Fund’s team will provide day-to-day support and once a week will hold workshops called ‘Open Doors’, in cooperation with local partners and all organisations, with the aim of presenting to all interested applicants the conditions and details regarding project submission.
