Bulgarian investor to build a snack factory in Dimitrovgrad

The Bulgarian company, Megainvest Hold EEOD, plans to build a snack and peanut production and packaging factory in the Free Zone in the town of Dimitrovgrad.

The production plant will span 1,500 square metres, while the rest of the business complex (covering a total of 18,200 square metres) will be offered for rent to other companies.

“The new investor is now in the process of forming a customs-free zone to be able to import the building materials to be used in the construction of its production hall. One part of the facility will be designated for the production and packing of snacks, peanuts and pistachios, one for the production of custom-made furniture, and one for the drying and packing of fruit and vegetables bought from local fruit and vegetable growers. As soon as the zone becomes a customs duty-free zone, the investor will start implementing its investment, no later than next spring”, says the president of the Dimitrovgrad Municipality, Vladica Dimitrov.
