The average gross salary calculated for December 2025 amounted to 169,921 dinars, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) stood at 124,089 dinars, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced.
Compared with November of the previous year, the net salary was 10.7 per cent higher in real terms, and this monthly increase traditionally occurs at the end of the year due to the payment of bonuses and additional earnings.
The growth in gross salaries in the period January – December 2025, compared with the same period the previous year, amounted to 11.6 per cent in nominal terms, or 7.5 per cent in real terms, while the average net salary was 11.5 per cent higher in nominal terms, or 7.4 per cent in real terms.
Compared with the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary for December 2025 was 14.5 per cent higher in nominal terms and 11.5 per cent higher in real terms, while the average net salary was 14.6 per cent higher in nominal terms, or 11.6 per cent in real terms.
The median net salary for December 2025 amounted to 90,819 dinars, meaning that half of employees earned up to that amount.
