The German-Chinese company, BMTS Technology, which will employ 200 workers by the year end in its car turbocharger factory in Novi Sad, has announced the possibility of creating another 300 jobs by 2026.
The factory was opened in November 2020 and has a production capacity of about two million turbochargers per year. Annual sales are expected to be 45 million euros this year and more than 300 million euros thereafter.
The production complex spans 25,000 square metres, and the company also plans to open a research centre there.
BMTS Technology is one of the global leaders in the production of turbochargers. It has about 1,300 employees in 6 locations and 3 continents.
