The Social Research Bureau (BIRODI) said on Tuesday that reports on TV stations with national frequencies about top state officials, the opposition and international officials were mainly positive while more than half the reports aired on N1 TV were neutral.
The TV stations with national frequencies mainly support the Serbian authorities.
BIRODI said that up to 75 percent of reports about the activities of President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, cabinet ministers, the opposition, international officials and civil society were positive between December 1, 2020, and November 30, 2021.
The pro-regime TV Pink’s reporting was 76.4 percent positively intoned, B92 followed with 75.6 percent, Happy TV with 73.6 percent while N1 TV’s reporting was 15.7 percent positive.
The most neutral reporting was by N1 TV (56.4 percent) and the state-run RTS (38.4 percent).
N1 TV also had the most negative reporting (28 percent) while TV Pink had only 10.6 percent of negative reports about the government.
