Belgrade sixth most polluted city in the world today

At eight o’clock this morning, Belgrade was the sixth most polluted city in the world, the website reported.

The air quality in the capital of Serbia is rated as “unhealthy”, and only New Delhi in India, Shenyang and Beijing in China, Lahore in Pakistan and Incheon in South Korea have more polluted air than Belgrade today.

This morning, Budapest ranks 19th, with its air rated as unhealthy for sensitive parts of the population, and Skopje is in 27th place, in the “moderately polluted” air group.

Since last night, an unpleasant smell has been felt in the part of Belgrade, reminiscent of the smell caused by a fire at a landfill, reports Tanjug.
