Fans of selfies now have their own little oasis with the opening of the first Selfie Museum in Serbia.
This concept, which focuses on younger generations that enjoy uploading their photos to social media, exists in around 20 cities of the world. The one in Serbia is located at 155, Jurija Gagarina Street in Novi Beograd.
The current exhibition is open until February 24th.
It consists of over 20 installations created by Jelena Obrenovic Damnjanovic. The imaginatively designed spaces will satisfy even the most demanding visitors, who can take selfies in a dark prison cell with bars, a white bathtub with golden balls, on the bottom of the sea, with optical illusions, in the clouds, on top of a building…
“The exhibition is adapted to Instagram users. At the Museum, people of all generations can make their own artwork, funny photos and video clips, display their creativity and have fun,” said the Selfie Museum’s PR, Sanja Radan.
The Selfie Museum is open each working day from 1 pm to 10 pm and on weekends from 10 am to 10 pm. Entrance costs RSD 300.
