“The offer was rated as the most favourable and the procurement commission proposed for the decision on the awarding of the contract to be reached. The bidders offered to build the cable car for RSD 1,794,000,000 (close to 15 million euro), excluding VAT,” Radojicic said.

He pointed out, that, if no complaints were made against the Commission’s decision in the next ten days, the contract will be signed with the selected companies.

Two bids arrived at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and they were opened on December 3rd.

As Radojicic said at that time, the cable car will travel one kilometre over the river with two boarding stations – one near the Port of Belgrade and Beton Hala, and the other one near Usce. The deadline for the completion of works is 275 days from the date of obtaining the building permit.
