The shopping mall Beteks in Banovo brdo will open on 1st December.

The company Carvel invested around EUR 5 million in the development of this shopping mall, which started in December 2015, and the facility will contain a furniture store, a wine shop, a coffee shop restaurant, a bank, a pharmacy, and 40 parking spaces have been provided for the visitors.

Beteks spans over 4,700 square meters. A large, 4-metre-tall digital clock has been installed in front of the facility, and the square, which is suitable for fairs, exhibits and festivals, also has a fountain. The first WiFi tree in Serbia, providing free internet access 24/7, has been planted there. The mall will also have two underground garages.

Back in 2013, Hypo Alpe Adria Bank became the owner of the former Beteks Department Store after cashing in a mortgage collateral. A year later, the department store was sold at still unknown price.

The shopping mall is located at 42a Pozeska Street.
