Belgrade Beer Fest starts on Thursday

The redesigned Belgrade Beer Festival will open its gates on Thursday, August 18, exactly at 6 p.m., at Ušće.

This year will also mark the jubilee of 300 years of brewing in Serbia, and on the occasion, there will be a promotion of craft brewers and specially designed domes where the such beer will be served.

The Festival programme will be divided into two segments – the music zone, with concerts by numerous stars, and the cloud zone, which is suitable for all ages.

During four days, over 50 musicians from the entire region will perform on four stages, with Bajaga i Instruktori, Tommy Emmanuel and Hladno Pivo performing on the first day. Massimo Savić, Kosheen, Nipple People, Senida and the group Zbogom Bruce Lee will perform on the second and third festival days.

The Serbian representative at this year’s Eurovision song contest, Konstrakta and the rock band Osvajači will close the festival.

This year, visitors will have the opportunity also see a motorcycle rally. In addition to being a unique place for motorcyclists to meet, the motorcycle lot at Beer Fest will also be one of the main attractions, and guests will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition of rare motorcycles and old-timers, witness the exciting “wall of death” and listen to rock and roll. During the festival, bikers will have a procession down the streets of Belgrade.

The Beer Fest gates will be open Thursday through Sunday from 6 p.m. Entrance to the Festival’s cloud zone is free, while entrance to the concert area of the festival is free until 7:30 p.m., and from 7:30 p.m., in order to enter, you will need to purchase a drink or drinks in the amount of 590 dinars.
