The State Statistics Office said on Tuesday that the average salary in Serbia rose by 12.9 percent in the first two months of the year compared to the same month in 2021.
“The growth of gross and net salaries in the January-February 2022 period compared to the same period a year earlier stood at 12.9 percent nominally and 4.1 percent in real terms,” a press release said.
It said that the average net salary in February 2022 stood at 70,605 Dinars and the average gross salary stood at 97,392 Dinars. Compared to the same month a year earlier, the average gross and net salaries in February 2022 were 13.4 percent higher nominally and 4.2 percent in real terms.
The media salary in February 2022 stood at 53.590 Dinars which means that 50 percent of the workforce has salaries up to that amount, the press release said.
