Average salary in June of 59,740 dinars; one worker in two receives less than 45,500 dinars

The average net salary in Serbia for the month of June 2020 amounts to 59,740 dinars and is nominally 11.4% and in real terms 9.6% higher than in the same month last year, announced the Serbian Statistical Office (RSZ).

The average gross salary in June was 82,572 dinars, 11.6% higher in nominal terms or 9.8% higher in real terms than in June 2019.

The average net real salary in June 2020 amounted to 45,500 dinars, which means that 50% of employees have earned up to the amount indicated.

Gross wages in the first six months of this year increased by 9.5% in nominal terms, or 8.0% in real terms compared to the same period in 2019.

At the same time, according to RZS, net wages increased by 9.4% in nominal terms and 7.9% in real terms.
