The average salary in April drops to 83,812 dinars
The average (gross) salary in Serbia in April this year was 115,631 dinars, while the average net salary was 83,812 dinars, the State Statistics Office announced on Monday.
In March, the average gross salary was 117,669 dinars, and the net salary was 85,485 dinars.
Median net earnings in April amounted to 63,954 dinars, which means that 50 percent of employees earned a salary up to that amount.
Gross and net salaries in the period January-April 2023, compared to the same period last year, are nominally higher by 15.3 percent, and in real terms lower by 0.4 percent.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross and net salaries for April 2023 are nominally higher by 14.8 percent, and in real terms lower by 0.3 percent.
