The average net salary in Serbia in August this year was 58,513 dinars.
Nominally, it is 8.1% higher than a year ago, while the real increase is 6.1%, announced the State Statistical Office (RZS).
The median net salary in August was 45,000 dinars, which means that 50% of the workforce has received a salary up to that amount.

The average salary with taxes and contributions was 80,901 dinars, which is nominally 8.2% more than in August last year or 6.2% in real terms.
The growth of net salary in the period January-August 2020, compared to the same period last year, was 9.2% in nominal terms and 7.6% in real terms, while in gross salaries the growth stood at 9.3% nominally, or 7.7% in real terms.
