The average net salary in Serbia in July 2023 amounted to 83,781 dinars or around EUR 710, the State Statistics Office (RZS) said on Monday.
Median net salaries and wages for July 2023 amounted to 64,734 dinars, said the RZS.
The average gross salary calculated for July 2023 amounted to 115,664 dinars.
“The increase of gross salaries and wages, and net salaries and wages, in the period January–July 2023, relative to the same period last year amounted to 15.3 percent in nominal terms, i.e. 0.3 percent in real terms. Compared with the same month last year, average gross salaries and wages and net salaries and wages for July 2023 increased by 14.6 percent in nominal terms, and 1.9 percent in real terms,” said the RZS.
