The municipality of Vozdovac has been negotiating with public enterprise Ski Resorts of Serbia about the construction of a ski slope on Avala, a mountain just outside Belgrade.
Although the president of the Municipality of Vozdovac, Aleksandar Savic did not specify when the ski track would open, he said that it would be available in both summer and winter.
“Several months ago, we had a meeting with the Ski Resorts of Serbia regarding the construction of a ski slope on Avala. We are putting together this project and I believe that the Municipality of Vozdovac will be able to issue a building permit to Ski Resorts of Serbia and that the ski track on Avala will be built. It would be available in both summer and winter, with plastic tracks would be used in the summer”, Savic said for the Vecernje Novosti daily.
