The Austrian Film Festival will be held from 16 to 19 April under the slogan “Više od … / More than … / Mehr als …” in Belgrade, Niš, and Novi Sad.
This year’s film selection not only offers an overview of contemporary Austrian cinema, but also addresses the human aspiration to be recognised in the fullness of one’s identity.
With the upcoming festival, the Austrian Cultural Forum is also marking 25 years of activity in Serbia, while this year’s film programme has been curated by writer and journalist Ana Vučković Denčić.
The festival will open on 16 April at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade with the documentary film *Far from the Lipizzaners*, directed by Olga Kosanović, who will be a special guest of the festival.
Films as part of the sixth edition of the Austrian Film Festival will be screened at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade, Cineplexx Stop Shop in Niš, and Cineplexx Promenada in Novi Sad.
