Austrian company Feller opens factory in Subotica

A new factory belonging to the Austrian company Feller Ltd, which specialises in the production and distribution of power cables, was officially opened today in the Mali Bajmok industrial zone in Subotica.

On the occasion, the company director Nebojša Milošević stated that the company manufactures cables for all devices that require electrical power from a source – essentially from the wall socket to the device itself.

“At present, we have established around 85% of our production processes, and the plan is to transfer additional production lines and products by the end of the year so that, at the beginning of next year, we can utilise our production facility to its full capacity. After that, provided conditions remain favourable, we hope to continue with the construction of a second and third production hall. Currently, seventy-three people are employed, and for the time being, that number will remain unchanged,” said Nebojša Milošević.

He also emphasised how important the support from the City of Subotica and the Subotica Free Zone had been ever since the company’s arrival in Subotica and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in May 2022.

Feller is one of the leading manufacturers of power cables, and its clients include some of the world’s most prominent companies in the household appliance, medical equipment, and IT industries.
