Aunde Italia Group to double production facility in Jagodina

Aunde Italia Group, which has had a car seat and interior factory in Jagodina since March 2014, will open a new production production facility on May 10th, Jagodina’s City Assembly confirmed on May 8.

The production facility in question is an extension of the current factory, and the construction started in late October 2016. A total of 400 new workers will be employed in the new facility, as agreed prior to the construction.

The beginning of the construction was symbolically marked on October 28, 2016, by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, and Mayor of Jagodina Dragan Markovic Palma, by laying down of the foundation stone.

The Ministry of Economy approved the job incentive of EUR 3,461 per employee for the new Aunde hall.

Dragan Markovic Palma said at the press conference, on the occasion of the signing of the agreement on the construction of the new facility, that Aunde had contracted a job with Mercedes, and that it was building the new hall for that purpose.

The Aunde factory is located in the Industrial Zone in the Italijanska Ulica (the Italian Street) named after the fact that three factories of Italian investors operate there.
