The Serbian Interior Minister, Nebojsa Stefanovic has confirmed that, as of June this year, the issuance and extension of driving licenses will be also available online, with the new driver’s licenses being sent to the home addresses of drivers.
Stefanovic added that that meant that drivers would no longer have to go to the police station in person to apply for their license or have it extended. This online service is not applicable to IDs and passports.
He also said that annually 600,000 citizens register their vehicles online.

“We also introduced digital forwarding of traffic accident reports to insurers for those accidents where no-one sustained injuries. Now, you don’t need to go to the police station in order to obtain the police report, since it is the police that forwards the report to your insurance company”, said Stefanovic.
The Minister also said that foreigners living in Serbia were also able to register their address of residence online now.
