As of 1st September, school grades will be recorded electronically

As of 1st September, the use of electronic class registers will be mandatory in all schools in Serbia, said the manager of the eProsveta project, Bojan Radic today.

“There have been attempts to introduce electronic class registers since 2006, but the idea has only now come to life thanks to teachers who agreed to work in this way. From 1st September 1, the use of electronic class registers will be mandatory in all schools in Serbia,” Radic told reporters.

He also said that the Ministry, in cooperation with Vip Mobile, introduced 4-G Internet routers in 25 primary schools in Sremska Mitrovica, Cajetina, Pozega, Presevo and other towns.

This was done under the framework of the digitalization and student digital literacy projects which entail introducing computer science and computing as compulsory subjects in elementary schools, followed by electronic class registers and digital teaching material.
