Arsenal Fest 2026, which will take place from 25 to 27 June at the unique venue of the Prince’s Arsenal in Kragujevac, is entering a new festival chapter with the announcement of the first major Main Stage names.
Following record attendance and the celebration of a major milestone – 15 years of existence – the festival continues to develop its distinctive concept: a blend of industrial heritage, top-tier production and a carefully curated music programme. Over three evenings, audiences can expect performers from different musical genres, all united by a strong artistic identity and international reputation.
Thursday, 25 June – The Cardigans
The cult Swedish band that defined the alternative pop and rock scene of the 1990s, fronted by the unmistakable vocals of Nina Persson, is coming to Kragujevac as the headliner of the opening night, bringing songs that shaped an era and entire generations. The global hit Lovefool and the album Gran Turismo launched them onto the world stage, while their consistency and sophisticated sound have cemented their long-standing status. Their performance at Arsenal Fest will be one of the band’s rare appearances in the region, making this festival night particularly significant.
Friday, 26 June – Magnifico
The charismatic songwriter and performer whose hits have become part of regional pop culture, Magnifico brings a concert experience that goes beyond a standard festival set. His fusion of Balkan melodies, Latin rhythms and pop energy, combined with his recognisable stage wit, guarantees that the second festival evening on the Main Stage will be marked by a superb atmosphere and audience sing-alongs, which are a frequent highlight of his performances. In this way, Arsenal Fest reaffirms its openness to artists who blur genre boundaries and connect audiences of different generations.
Saturday, 27 June – Paradise Lost
Legends of the British gothic metal scene and pioneers of the genre, Paradise Lost will close the festival with a powerful performance as one of the headline acts of the final night. Albums such as Gothic and Draconian Times have left a profound mark on the history of heavy metal, and their authentic sound continues to inspire new generations of bands. The audience can expect a powerful finale to the festival weekend, marked by a darker yet intense energy that will undoubtedly impress everyone in attendance.
The announcement of the first headliners and performers marks the beginning of an intensive wave of programme reveals, with new names set to be presented soon to complete this year’s line-up.
