This year’s edition of the Night of Music will take place on August 30th in Ušće, Belgrade and it promises to be an unforgettable evening with the music with the RTS Symphony Orchestra and Choir performing with the global musical phenomenon Apocalyptica.
The conductor Bojan Sudjić will open the event with the Top Classics programme which includes popular fragments of the most famous operas composed Stevan Hristić, Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Alexander Borodin, as well as the compositions by Franz Suppé, Arturo Marquez, Tchaikovsky and Carl Orff.
The special surprise of this year’s Music Night will be the performance of the Finnish band Apocalyptica combines heavy metal and classical music to create a new music genre. Their current tour called “Four Cellos Play Metallica” is dedicated to the interpretations of the songs by the legendary American metal band Metallica.
After a 20-year-long career, millions of records sold worldwide and concerts held in over 40 countries, Apocalyptica is known for its innovative sound.
Last year, the Night of Music gathered the audience of over 45,000 people.
This year, the event is part of the Cloud festival platform, along with the Belgrade Beer Fest” and the Belgrade Music Week that will also take place in Ušće.
Admission to the event is free with the download of the free mobile application KeepApp, which will be available from August on Google Play and App Store, while VIP seats are available to the holders of the All you can drink VIP pass.
